We pride ourselves on our personal service.  So, we are delighted to give a short introduction to each of our team members, so you know who to expect when you call us or when we arrive at your door.

Vic Greenfield : Director

Gas Safe Registered Gas Engineer Customer Service Manager Director Troubleshooter!

Vic joined British Gas (South Eastern) as an Apprentic Gas Service Engineer.  During his first year, he was awarded Gas Apprentice of the Year for the South Eastern Region.  On completing his apprenticeship, Vic worked on a wide range of gas appliances, as well as implementing and advising on all aspects of gas safety.

In recognition of Vic's considerable talent, British Gas offered Vic the opportunity to widen his knowledge of the energy industry.  So, Vic studied Electrical Engineering, whilst continuing to work as a British Gas Service engineer.  Vic attended Northbrook College and gained his qualification in 1997 (City & Guilds 234 Electrical Installations, Parts 1 & 2).  It was during this time at Northbrook that Vic first met Harry Honsa, who is Electrical Manager for Greenfield Services .

Following the restructuring of British Gas into Transco and British Gas Services, Vic transferred to the latter and continued to work on installing, servicing and maintaining all types of gas appliances. 

In May 1997, Vic set up Greenfield Gas Services Ltd.  The past 13 years has seen the company firmly established and growing rapidly.  

 

Harry Honsa : Electrical Manager

Electrical Manager NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor

Harry gained his City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Parts 1 & 2 qualification in 1997.  He worked for a local electrical firm for over 13 years, including 8 years as an NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor.  He also became a Joint Industry Board (JIB) Approved Electrician.

Harry joined Greenfield Gas Services in 2005 and is the NIC EIC Qualifying Supervisor for the Company.  It is his responsibility to oversee both the appliance of, and adherence to BS 7671 regulations.

Harry has a wide range of domestic and commercial electrical experience, and is fully qualified to work on domestic and commercial installations. He also has comprehensive experience in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and telephone and data cabling.  He is an extremely knowledgeable and capable member of our team.

 

Karen Greenfield : Office Manager

Office Manager

Vic's wife, Karen, attended the University of Brighton for four years, and in 1996 qualified as a Primary School Teacher.

Whilst teaching in Brighton, Karen was also running the administration and accounting for Greenfield Gas Services. 

Karen left her teaching career in 2006 and became full-time Office Manager for Greenfield Services.

 

Louise Chapman : Office Administrator

Office Administrator

Louise joined us in November 2007, straight after finishing A-levels.  During the time Louise has been with us she has successfully gained an NVQ level 2 in Business Administration and is currently studying for an Accountancy qualification. 

Louise has excellent customer-facing skills, and a firm grasp of business organisation.

Louise has also demonstrated that she has a firm understanding of electronic book-keeping and is very competent in managing appointments for our engineers on a daily basis.

Louise has also exceeded our expectations in helping our showroom customers and has had many positive comments about her friendly approach and superb telephone manner.

Rose Greenfield : Office Administrator

Office Administrator

Rose joined us in August 2007. She came to us with a wealth of experience of managing the accounts and day-to-day running of another Plumbing and Bathroom Installation company.

Rose has proved invaluable when it comes to running the office. Her book keeping skills are exceptional.

Rose also has excellent customer service skills and is able to deal with all enquiries thoroughly.

 

Wayne Jones : Gas Safe Registered Plumber

Wayne joined Greenfield Services in April 2005, shortly after completing his plumbing training at Chichester College. 

Wayne is an expert bathroom installer and tiler. He undertakes the entire job from the initial stages of removing the existing bathroom suite to full installation of a new bathroom including furniture, showers, baths and wet rooms. His eye for detail has ensured that each bathroom he completes is a total transformation.

Wayne is also exceptional at installing fireplaces, again his attention to detail is second to none.

Wayne is Gas Safe registered and has proven that he is also a very competent heating and gas engineer.

 

Ian Strotten : Gas Safe Registered Plumber

After training as a gas engineer in Scotland and gaining an SNVQ level 3 in Advanced Plumbing and Gas, Ian gained valuable experience with another heating compnay before joining our team in May 2007.

Ian is Gas Safe registered and is a very proficient gas and heating engineer.

Ian has skillfully installed and maintained many heating systems, gas fires and many other gas appliances. He is also qualified to work on unvented hot water systems.

 

James Groves : Electrician

Electrician

James is a fully qualified electrician, he joined our electrical team in 2009 and has proved to be a very valuable asset to our electrical team.

 

Ross Bennett : Gas Safe Registered Plumber

Ross joined us in February 2008.

Before Ross joined us he gained valuable work experience whilst working for a drainage and groundworks company.

Ross has now completed a City and Guilds Level 3 in plumbing and gas. He is qualified to work on unvented hot water cylinders and has completed a Water Regulation Certificate. Ross is now registered on the Gas Safe Register and is qualified to work on gas appliances.

Rick Jones : Plumber

Rick is the newest addition to our fabulous team! Although he only started working for us in the new year, he has already shown us that he has great potential.
