Description
Comes in a 50g Tin
FRESH FROM THE TUBBY SMOKER!
If you know us, you know we’re serious about smoking things here at Tubby HQ.
We’ve finally upgraded to a bigger smoker, which means we’re now producing small batches of our signature wood-smoked sea salt to share with you! These orange-smoked salts come in neat little 50g tins - we’d love to hear what you think of the smaller size!
SMOKED USING BURNING BARN RUM BARREL WOOD
Our good mates at Burning Barn make epic rum - and their barrels? Even better for smoking. We got our hands on some of their spent barrel wood and used it to infuse the salt with a one-of-a-kind, rum-tinged smokiness.
PLUS… THE TINS ARE PRETTY DARN COOL.
Perfect for keeping and repurposing as stash tins once the salt’s all gone.
A QUICK NOTE ON LOOKING AFTER YOUR SALT TIN:
Salt + metal + moisture = rust. It’s just science. Try to store your salt away from steam and humidity - though we get it, that’s tough when it lives near your hob.
If rust does show up on the bottom, just tip the salt out, wipe the tin clean with lemon juice, dry thoroughly, and pop the salt back in.
Want extra protection? Pop a little circle of baking paper in the base.
