Delivery Times & Areas

Outdoor Living Items:

  • FREE Delivery on all orders over £50
  • £3.95 Delivery on all orders under £50

Fires and Fireplaces:

  • FREE for all orders over £400
  • Orders under £400 are charged as follows: £3.95 for parcels, £50.00 for pallet deliveries

  • We aim to deliver your order within 10 working days of receiving it into our warehouse from the manufacturer.
  • Deliveries are to mainland England and Wales.
  • Deliveries to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey will incur an additional charge.
  • Delivery to certain postcodes (e.g. Highlands, Scottish Isles) may carry surcharges.
  • We currently do not deliver outside the UK but overseas customers may arrange their own transportation.
  • Deliveries are Monday to Friday (all-day slots). Saturday deliveries are available at extra cost. 

Important: Delivery is to Outside Only

  • 🚨 Please note: No courier, delivery driver, or member of our delivery team will enter your property.
  • Local delivery: If you require or request in-home delivery by one of the Greenfield Services Team (i.e., to your room of choice) prices go as follows: £40.00 inc VAT for ONE person delivery, £80.00 inc VAT for TWO person delivery.
  • If you have any questions or queries about local, in-home deliveries, please contact us ahead of your order. 
  • All deliveries will be made to the front of your property, usually to the kerbside or driveway.
  • Drivers are not permitted to carry goods into your home, garage, or any outbuilding.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure there is someone on site to accept and move the goods as required.
  • If there are access restrictions (e.g. stairs, gravel, narrow paths), the delivery may be made to the nearest accessible point.

 

Signing for & Inspecting Goods

  • All deliveries must be signed for. If no one is present to sign, the delivery will be aborted and a minimum £50 re-delivery fee will apply.
  • Inspect your goods immediately in the presence of the driver.
  • Check the packaging carefully for any visible damage.
  • Report any issues before the driver leaves.
  • Once goods are signed for, responsibility passes to the customer.

 

Delivery Methods

Pallet Courier Deliveries

  • Large or heavy orders will be delivered on a pallet.
  • The driver will unload with a pallet truck to the kerbside or driveway.
  • Accessibility issues may result in kerbside delivery only.
  • Check the packaging carefully while the driver is still present and report any visible damage immediately.

 

Greenfield Services Delivery Team

  • For certain postcodes, we may deliver using our own team.
  • You will be contacted to arrange a delivery date and given an estimated time on the day of delivery.
  • Your order will be delivered outside the property only.
  • If there are accessibility issues, delivery may be kerbside only.
  • Please unwrap and check your goods while the team is still present and report any issues straight away.

 

Parcel Delivery Company

  • Small parcels will be delivered by a courier.
  • This is an all-day, doorstep delivery service.

 

Collections from Our Showroom

  • Collections can be made from our Lancing showroom between 09:00–16:00 Monday to Friday, and by appointment on Saturday mornings.
  • We require at least 2 working days’ notice for collections.
  • Please ensure you bring appropriate manpower and vehicle for your order.
  • Our team may be able to assist with loading but cannot and will not accept responsibility for any damage during loading or transport.
  • Customers must inspect goods at the point of collection. No claims for damage can be made after goods have left our premises.

 

Summary of Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure someone is available to accept delivery.
  • Provide clear, accessible delivery instructions in advance.
  • Inspect goods immediately upon arrival.
  • Understand that deliveries are outside only - our drivers cannot enter your property.
  • Report any issues before the driver leaves.
