Available in a 200g Tin
STRAIGHT OUTTA THE TUBBY SMOKER!
Tubby HQ has gone all-in on smoke. With a brand-new, larger smoker now fired up, they're producing fresh batches of wood-smoked sea salt — this time in chunky 200g tins. And yes, they’re every bit as awesome as they sound.
APPLE WOOD SMOKED
Apple wood, a classic fruitwood, gives off a mild, sweet smoke that gently enhances the flavour of meats without overpowering them. It’s especially well-suited to pork (hence the wild boar on the tin), but also works beautifully with chicken and fish — perfect for more delicate cuts that benefit from a touch of subtle smokiness.
Use this salt as a crunchy finishing touch, a seasoning for low-and-slow meats, or to level up anything on the grill. Oh, and don’t sleep on popcorn — this stuff makes the smokiest homemade popcorn you’ve ever tasted.
AND ABOUT THOSE TINS…
They’re seriously cool. Once the salt’s gone, you’ll want to keep them around — perfect as stash tins or kitchen companions.
IMPORTANT: LOOKING AFTER YOUR SALT TINS
Salt + metal + moisture = rust. To keep your tin in top shape, store it away from steam and humidity (we know that's tricky if it lives by the cooker). If rust starts to appear, simply pour out the salt, clean the tin with lemon juice, let it dry fully, and refill. You can also line the base with baking paper to help prevent clumping or corrosion.
