The Charlton & Jenrick 4D Ecoflame 22″ Maxi brings a generous flame display to a hearth inset electric fire. Designed to accommodate a standard 16-inch fireplace opening using its spacer arrangement, it offers a wider appearance while keeping installation requirements manageable.
Its Eclipse fascia provides a contemporary frame around the flames, with a choice of Black & Black Nickel or Chrome & Black Nickel finishes. Whether you are updating a traditional surround or choosing a new fireplace, the Maxi creates a substantial focal point with plenty of scope to personalise the display.
Reflective flame technology with adjustable mood settings
Charlton & Jenrick’s 4D reflection technology creates flame images that appear to rise from within the fuel bed, adding depth to the display.
Choose from three flame colours, each with four mood settings that vary the brightness and apparent flame size. This allows you to change the atmosphere from a softer evening glow to a brighter, more prominent flame picture.
The flame effect can also operate without the heater, so you can enjoy the fireplace throughout the year.
Choose your fuel-bed arrangement
The Maxi offers a choice of decorative fuel effects, including logs, coal, ice crystals and glowing embers. The flickering fuel-bed lighting adds another layer of colour and movement beneath the flames.
Standard logs provide a woodland-inspired appearance. For a more individual finish, choose the optional Real Oak Premium Log Set, made from hand-selected oak that is charred to create natural texture and character.

Contemporary Eclipse fascia
The Eclipse fascia frames the wide display with clean lines and contrasting finishes. Black & Black Nickel gives the fireplace a darker appearance, while Chrome & Black Nickel introduces brighter metallic detailing.
Optional LED fascia lighting provides another way to personalise the installation, adding a glow around the fire. Compatible lighting and fitting accessories must be selected separately.
Thermostatic heating and seven-day programming
When additional warmth is needed, the Maxi offers up to 1.5kW of heat. Its controls automatically select between two heating levels to help reach and maintain your chosen temperature.
The remote handset incorporates thermostatic control and a seven-day timer, allowing you to plan heating around your routine. High-level buttons on the appliance provide convenient access to basic lighting controls.
Add fireside sound
A selectable crackling effect adds another dimension to the fireplace experience. Enjoy it alongside the flames when you want the atmosphere of a wood fire, or leave it switched off for a quieter display.
Flexible fitting arrangements
The supplied spacer arrangement allows the wider fire to be fitted to a suitable standard 16-inch fireplace opening. Installation into a wider opening is also possible with the spacer removed, subject to the manufacturer’s fitting requirements.
