Discover a traditional approach to outdoor fire lighting with the Petromax Fire Piston. Compact and reusable, this clever tool uses rapidly compressed air to ignite tinder, creating a glowing ember that you can transfer to a prepared tinder nest.
It’s a rewarding addition to a bushcraft or camping kit, giving you the opportunity to practise a hands-on outdoor skill without relying on batteries or a conventional lighter. An integrated firesteel provides an alternative way to produce sparks.
Built-in storage compartments keep tinder and lubricant close at hand, while the supplied transport pouch keeps the kit together between outings. Whether you’re developing your own fire-lighting skills or looking for a thoughtful gift for an outdoor enthusiast, the Petromax Fire Piston offers something a little different.
