    The Petromax Cast Iron Trivet is a versatile accessory designed to provide excellent heat distribution when cooking or baking in a Dutch oven. Made from solid cast iron, it raises food above the base of the pot, helping heat circulate evenly and preventing ingredients from scorching.

    Its compact 23 cm diameter makes it particularly suitable for the Petromax ft4.5 Dutch Oven, while it can also be used inside larger models, including the ft6, ft9, and ft12.

    Perfect for Dutch oven cooking

    The trivet stands securely on three raised feet, creating space between the food and the bottom of the Dutch oven. This makes it ideal for braising, steaming, simmering, roasting, and baking without food coming into direct contact with the hottest surface.

    It can also be securely combined with smaller Petromax cast iron grids to create multiple cooking levels inside larger Dutch ovens.

    The cast iron has a pre-seasoned finish, meaning the trivet is ready to use immediately without requiring any initial seasoning.
