Description
A contemporary cylindrical stove with panoramic curved glass and exceptional clean-burning performance.
The Purevision BPVR Cylinder Multi-Fuel Stove brings a modern Scandinavian-inspired look to the Purevision range. With its curved ceramic glass window and cylindrical body, this stove offers a stunning panoramic view of the fire, creating a striking focal point in both contemporary and traditional homes.
Designed by Charlton & Jenrick, the BPVR Cylinder combines elegant styling with advanced combustion technology, delivering efficient heat, excellent flame control, and full multi-fuel capability as standard. With a 5kW nominal output and an operating range of 3.2kW to 6.8kW, it is ideal for everyday heating in a wide range of living spaces.
Panoramic Flame View
The BPVR Cylinder features up to a 180-degree curved ceramic glass window, giving an exceptional view of the flames from around the room. With no side window pillars when installed against a flat wall, the fire view remains open and uninterrupted without the need for a swivelling base.
The powerful airwash system helps keep the glass clearer, producing Purevision’s impressive High Definition flame picture.
Contemporary Styling Options
For a stylish continental look, the BPVR Cylinder is available with a choice of installation and base options, including:
- High pedestal stand
- Low pedestal stand
- High log store
- Low log store
- Wall-mounted option
The log store versions combine modern styling with practical fuel storage, while the pedestal options create a clean, elevated look.
Efficient Multi-Fuel Performance
The BPVR Cylinder is suitable for burning seasoned wood or approved smokeless fuel, with full multi-fuel capability included as standard. A cast iron fire base plate for wood burning and a multi-fuel cast iron bar grate are both included.
With efficiency figures of 81.8% when burning wood and 76.8% when burning solid fuel, the stove is designed to make effective use of fuel while delivering comfortable, controllable heat.
Advanced Purevision Technology
The BPVR Cylinder includes Purevision’s patented tertiary air-profiling system, which supports clean combustion and high efficiency. The unique Active Baffle System helps with faster start-up, easier refuelling, and improved control during operation.
Convection stove technology helps reduce heat loss around the sides of the stove, making more efficient use of the fuel and improving heat delivery into the room.
Ecodesign, DEFRA Exempt and clearSkies Level 5
The BPVR Cylinder is SIA Ecodesign certified, DEFRA exempt for burning wood in smoke control areas, and clearSkies Level 5 certified. This makes it a strong choice for customers looking for a modern, cleaner-burning stove with excellent environmental credentials.
Flexible Installation
The BPVR Cylinder offers both top and rear flue outlet options with a 127mm / 5-inch flue diameter. It also has reduced clearances to combustibles, with 175mm rear clearance and 400mm side clearance.
An optional external air kit is available for 100% external air intake, with rear or base connection options depending on the installation.
