The Petromax Burger Iron is the perfect tool for preparing juicy burgers over a campfire, barbecue, or grill. Made from robust cast iron, it allows you to cook evenly shaped burger patties while achieving the distinctive grill marks and roasted flavour that outdoor cooking is known for.

Each mould produces round burgers with a diameter of approximately 12 cm, making it ideal for classic burger buns and hearty outdoor meals.

Even cooking with cast iron

The cast iron plates store heat efficiently and distribute it evenly across the burger surface. This allows patties to be seared quickly over the fire and finished gently using the retained heat, ensuring a juicy interior with a crisp exterior.

The grooved surface creates the typical grill pattern, adding both flavour and an authentic barbecue appearance.

Safe handling over the fire

The burger iron features flattened wooden handles and a secure locking hook, allowing the mould to remain firmly closed while cooking. This makes it easy to hold the iron safely in hot embers or above an open flame.

The long handle keeps your hands at a safe distance from the heat source during cooking.

Easy cleaning and maintenance

The cast iron plates are connected by a hinge and can be separated for easy cleaning. This allows both halves to be cleaned individually after cooking.

For removing stubborn residues from the grill grooves, a cast iron scraper with grooves is recommended.
