The Charlton & Jenrick Panache 56SD Electric Stove combines clean contemporary styling with highly customisable LED flame and lighting effects. Illuminated logs form a striking centrepiece within the fuel bed, creating an inviting focal point in both modern and traditional interiors.
With no chimney or flue required, the Panache can be positioned within a suitable fireplace opening, placed on a hearth or used as a freestanding feature near an appropriate electrical supply.
LiveFlame Technology
Charlton & Jenrick’s LiveFlame technology offers 16 flame-effect combinations created from four flame colour options and a choice of different visual moods.
The flame brightness and size can be adjusted to create anything from a gentle flicker to a fuller, more prominent display.
My Flame Presets
The My Flame function provides six carefully selected combinations of flickering flames, glowing logs, fuel-bed lighting and downlights.
Three additional positions can be programmed with your own preferred colours and brightness settings, giving nine My Flame positions altogether. Once saved, your favourite displays can be recalled without adjusting each effect individually.

At the heart of the stove is a realistic illuminated log arrangement, complemented by a flickering Ambilight fuel bed.
The fuel bed and glowing logs provide eight fixed colours plus a colour-cycle mode, giving nine lighting settings in total. Five brightness levels allow the effects to be softened or intensified, while a synchronised setting coordinates the fuel bed and illuminated logs.
Two selectable downlight colours provide additional illumination from above, helping spotlight the logs and add further depth to the display.
Ambient Mood Lighting
The supplied ambient lighting strip can illuminate the wall or area surrounding the stove. It provides 12 fixed colours plus a colour-cycle mode, together with five brightness settings.
Two Crackling Sound Effects
Choose between two realistic crackling sound effects to recreate the comforting ambience of a wood-burning fire. The sound can be switched off when preferred, with adjustable volume available through the controls.
Flexible Control
Operate the Panache using its concealed appliance controls, supplied remote control, the C&J Smart App or a compatible wall switch.
The remote houses the thermostat and provides convenient control over the flames, illuminated logs, fuel bed, downlights, ambient lighting, sound, temperature and timer functions.
Efficient Electric Heating
The integrated heater offers low and high heat settings with a maximum output of 2kW. Automatic thermostatic control selects the appropriate heat level to reach and maintain your chosen room temperature.
A seven-day programmable timer, adaptive-start control and open-window detection help reduce unnecessary energy use. The flame and lighting effects can also be enjoyed independently of the heater for year-round ambience.
