The Petromax Atago is a rugged and versatile outdoor cooking system that combines grill, stove, oven, and fire bowlin one compact design. Built for camping, outdoor cooking, and backyard barbecues, the Atago allows you to cook with charcoal, briquettes, or firewood, giving you maximum flexibility wherever your adventure takes you.

Thanks to its innovative folding mechanism, the Atago is ready for use in just seconds. When folded, it measures only 14–15 cm in height, making it easy to store and transport for camping trips, picnics, and outdoor gatherings.

Four cooking functions in one device

The Atago is designed as a multi-functional outdoor cooking station, giving you several ways to cook or create heat outdoors.

As a grill:
Use the included grill grate with charcoal or briquettes to cook meat, vegetables, and other barbecue favourites.

As a stove or oven:
Place a Petromax Dutch oven (ft3, ft6, or ft9) inside the Atago. The surrounding walls trap heat, creating excellent heat efficiency for baking, roasting, or slow cooking. With optional accessories such as the convection dome, you can even bake pizza.

As a cooking stove:
Woks, pans, or cookware can be placed on the top opening, allowing you to cook meals directly over the heat source.

As a fire bowl:
After cooking, simply add firewood to create a warm and inviting campfire for relaxing evenings outdoors.

Efficient heat with chimney effect

The Atago’s double-walled two-cylinder design creates a powerful chimney effect, drawing air through the ventilation openings and generating strong, efficient heat. The continuously adjustable air supply allows precise temperature control for grilling and cooking.

Despite the intense heat inside, the outer cylinder remains relatively cool, improving safety and efficiency.
