Measuring approximately one metre wide, the cassette uses Dimplex’s patented Opti-myst technology to produce three-dimensional flames and smoke from illuminated water vapour. Three-Dimensional Opti-myst Flames
Opti-myst technology combines cool water vapour with energy-efficient LED lighting to create the appearance of flames and smoke rising naturally from the fuel bed.
Unlike a conventional electric fire with a flat flame image behind glass, the Opti-myst effect occupies physical space above the logs. It can be viewed from the front, sides and rear, creating a convincing and immersive display from throughout the room.
LED Log-Effect Fuel Bed
A detailed LED log-effect fuel bed is supplied as standard, providing a realistic foundation for the rising flames and smoke.
The illuminated logs add warmth and definition to the display while allowing the cassette to retain its open, contemporary appearance.
All-Round Viewing
The Cassette 1000 can be incorporated into virtually any viewing configuration. Use it within a traditional front-facing opening, expose one end for a corner arrangement, create a panoramic three-sided fire or install it between two spaces as a see-through tunnel fireplace.
It can also be left completely open on all four sides, making it ideal for island fireplaces, room dividers, reception areas, restaurants and other statement installations.
Customisable Flame and Sound
Variable flame-intensity control allows the height and volume of the Opti-myst display to be adjusted to complement its surroundings.
A realistic crackling-log sound effect adds authentic fireside atmosphere. The sound volume can be adjusted independently to suit the room or occasion.
Remote and Manual Operation
The supplied remote control operates the principal functions from a distance, while controls on the cassette provide convenient manual operation.
The Cassette 1000 is a decorative flame-effect appliance and does not contain a heater. This makes it suitable for contemporary and commercial interiors where a convincing fireplace is required without introducing additional heat.
Easy-Fill Water Tanks
The Opti-myst effect is supplied by manually filled water tanks and can operate for approximately eight to ten hours before refilling is required. Actual running time will depend on the flame setting and surrounding conditions.

Expandable Modular Design
