The Dimplex e-MatriX 800/500 I combines the familiar presence of a built-in fireplace with the distinctive movement of Optimyst water-vapour flames. Its front-facing format frames the display within your chosen chimney breast or surround, creating a focal point that works equally well with traditional detailing, natural materials or a more minimal contemporary finish.
At the heart of the fire, fine water vapour and light create a three-dimensional flame effect that rises around a detailed resin log set. The movement gives the display depth and variation, helping it feel alive as you sit and watch. Integrated crackling sound adds to the atmosphere, while lighting above and beneath the fuel bed brings out the texture of the logs and the glow within the fireplace.
You can adjust the flame height, colours and ambient lighting to change the character of the display. Choose a quieter setting for a relaxed evening or a more prominent flame when you want the fireplace to take centre stage. The remote provides convenient everyday operation, with the Dimplex e-MatriX app offering more detailed control over the lighting, heating and programmable settings.

The e-MatriX uses electricity and water without needing a gas supply or flue. A permanent water connection is the standard arrangement; an optional Dimplex pump system allows an external reservoir to be used where a fixed supply is impractical.
